Job summary

VAILEXA in California seeks a highly creative Senior Learning Developer to transform complex technical content into clear, engaging learning assets for our Infrastructure Specialists—an elite engineering team deploying the world’s largest AI factories.

You’ll guide production from concept to finished asset, balance speed and quality, shape content with generative AI, and apply brand standards across videos, animations, job aids, and presentations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in learning development, visual design, motion design, or related field.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating visual and information design excellence.
• Advanced hands-on Adobe After Effects; proficient with Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Ability to transform incomplete or poorly structured content into clear, engaging assets.
• Judgment balancing speed, quality, production value, and learner needs.
• Experience collaborating with generative AI while maintaining human ownership of creative decisions.
• Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar technical subjects and follow brand standards.
• Self-directed, reliable, and collaborative with good time management.

Looking for a highly creative, AI-savvy Senior Learning Developer to support the Infrastructure Specialists — an elite force of engineers who deploy the world’s largest AI factories.

About the Role

You’ll transform complex and sometimes rough technical content into clear, valuable, and visually exceptional learning assets. This requires more than production ability: you must think critically, shape content, make strong design decisions, and independently move work from an early concept to a finished product. Our needs range from sophisticated, high-production experiences to polished assets produced within hours. You’ll select the right production approach for the audience, purpose, and timeline while maintaining quality, accuracy, and brand alignment.

Responsibilities

• Transform rough technical content into effective videos, animations, presentations, job aids, and other learning assets
• Create motion graphics, animated explainers, and video content with a strong emphasis on Adobe After Effects
• Work thoughtfully with generative AI to shape content, explore ideas, accelerate production, and expand creative possibilities
• Apply style guides, themes, templates, and brand standards across deliverables
• Adjust production approaches across multiple tiers, from rapid-turn assets to highly polished learning experiences
• Collaborate with technical subject matter experts to clarify complex ideas and resolve content gaps
• Independently manage projects, priorities, and deadlines using ClickUp and other team systems
• Publish and maintain learning content in Adobe Learning Manager
• Contribute flexibly to other creative, learning, and program needs in service of the mission

Qualifications Required

• 8+ years of experience in learning development, visual design, motion design, video production, or a related field
• Exceptional visual and information-design skills supported by a strong portfolio
• Advanced, hands-on Adobe After Effects skills, with experience in Illustrator, Photoshop, and video-editing tools
• Demonstrated ability to turn incomplete or poorly structured technical content into clear, engaging learning assets
• Strong judgment when balancing speed, quality, production value, and learner needs
• Experience collaborating with generative AI while retaining human ownership of creative, editorial, and design decisions
• Ability to follow detailed brand standards and learn unfamiliar technical subjects quickly
• Self-direction, reliability, sound judgment, and a collaborative team mindset
• Comfort with ClickUp, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and similar productivity tools
• Ability to maintain several hours of regular working-time overlap with the U.S. Central Time team

Preferred

• A portfolio that includes advanced motion design, technical learning content, and rapid-turn work
• Experience with Adobe Learning Manager, Synthesia, ElevenLabs, and Lottie animation
• Familiarity with Captivate, Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, or comparable authoring tools
