Fanning Howey Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior IT Systems Administrator to join our Information Technology team.
This role focuses on ensuring security, reliability, and performance of Microsoft 365, AD, identity management, and related environments across the firm. The position is full-time, non-exempt, based in Indiana or Ohio offices with some travel between locations and occasional after-hours support for planned system needs.
This position is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional who enjoys being hands-on, solving complex technical issues, and helping employees make the most of the technology they use every day. In this role, you will help ensure the security, reliability, and performance of Fanning Howey’s Microsoft 365, Active Directory, identity and access, and related technology environments. You’ll work independently and collaboratively with our IT team, employees across the firm, and external technology partners to support the systems that keep our business moving.
This is a full-time, hourly/non-exempt position with regular in-person attendance at the assigned Fanning Howey office. Some travel between company offices and occasional after-hours support for planned system needs or critical technology issues may be required.
Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft 365 Administrator Associate, Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), or Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300) are preferred. Experience with PowerShell, Intune/endpoint management, Microsoft Defender, security and compliance tools, virtualization, backup/disaster recovery solutions, or hybrid cloud environments would also be valuable.
At Fanning Howey, technology plays an important role in supporting the people who design learning environments for students and communities. As our Sr. IT Systems Administrator, you’ll have the opportunity to work across the firm, solve meaningful technology challenges, and help provide reliable and secure systems that allow our employees to do their best work.
