Fanning Howey Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior IT Systems Administrator to join our Information Technology team.

This role focuses on ensuring security, reliability, and performance of Microsoft 365, AD, identity management, and related environments across the firm. The position is full-time, non-exempt, based in Indiana or Ohio offices with some travel between locations and occasional after-hours support for planned system needs.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of three years of experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Active Directory environments.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 services: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive; Entra ID; Group Policy.
• Knowledge of identity and access management principles and security controls.
• Experience troubleshooting Windows desktop and server environments.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical users.

Responsabilités

• Administer and support Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, user accounts, security groups, and licensing.
• Manage Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID, including user/group administration, Group Policy, authentication, and identity lifecycle processes.
• Support multi-factor authentication, conditional access, and other security controls.
• Monitor and respond to security alerts; maintain secure technology environments.
• Provide advanced Tier 2/3 support for hardware, software, network, and authentication issues.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding and maintain IT asset documentation.
• Administer and monitor backup, archival, and recovery systems; participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Assist with migrations, deployments, upgrades, and other IT projects.
• Collaborate with staff, departments, vendors, and partners to resolve issues and support technology needs.
