Job summary

ProSync is seeking a Senior ISSO Lead to oversee the ISSO Support Department, maintain security compliance, and ensure documentation accuracy for DFC systems. The role covers governance tasks like POA&M tracking, RMF updates, vulnerability status, audits, and system owner coordination, maintaining FISMA and NIST compliance daily.

The candidate should have extensive cybersecurity leadership experience, familiarity with DoD/IC requirements, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience.
• Experience leading Information Security teams.
• Knowledge of FISMA, NIST SP 800-53, 800-37.
• A PMP or equivalent certification is recommended.
• A CISSP or equivalent IAT/IAM Level III certifciation is required.

Job description

ProSync is seeking a passionateSr. ISSO Lead to help oversee the ISSO Support Department and is responsible for helping maintain security compliance, documentation accuracy, and continuous monitoring for DFC systems. They will oversee routine cybersecurity governance functions such as POA&M tracking, RMF documentation updates, vulnerability status maintenance, audit preparation, and system owner coordination. This department ensures systems stay compliant with FISMA and NIST requirements daily.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Sr. ISSO Lead supports operations within the ISSO Support Department, ensuring all governance and documentation activities flow efficiently.

• Acts as second-in-command to the PM for ISSO support operations.
• Facilitates daily team tasking, monitors bandwidth, and ensures quality control.
• Provides operational continuity across ISSOs when addressing escalations or urgent compliance tasks.

• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience.

• A CISSP or equivalent IAT/IAM Level III certifciation is required.

• A minimum Public Trust security clearance or higher is required to be considered for this position. (We are not able to sponsor candidates for a security clearance.)

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in any field.
