Job summary

ProSync is seeking multiple Information Systems Security Officers (ISSO) to oversee the ISSO Support Department. You will manage RMF documentation, SB/SSP artifacts, and continuous monitoring for government systems in a highly secure environment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years as an ISSO or information security analyst, with RMF/NIST SP 800-53 expertise and a Level II IAT/IAM certification. Public Trust clearance is required to be considered, and ProSync offers strong benefits and career growth.

ProSync is seeking multiple passionate Information Systems Security Officers (ISSO) to help oversee the ISSO Support Department. The ISSO team will be responsible for helping maintain security compliance, documentation accuracy, and continuous monitoring for government systems. They will oversee routine cybersecurity governance functions such as POA&M tracking, RMF documentation updates, vulnerability status maintenance, audit preparation, and system owner coordination. This department ensures systems stay compliant with FISMA and NIST requirements daily.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The ISSO helps support and execute continuous RMF compliance, system documentation upkeep, and implementation of security controls.

• Serves as senior technical authority for ISSO functions.
• Supports system-level cybersecurity governance tasks, ensuring accuracy of SSPs, artifacts, and monitoring metrics.

• SSP development, review, and updates
• Coordination during assessment cycles and A&A preparations

• 3+ years as an ISSO or information security analyst.
• Strong knowledge of RMF, NIST SP 800‑53, POA&M processes.
• Experience with governance tools (e.g., Archer, CSAM).
• An IAT/IAM Level II certification or higher is required.

• A minimum active Public Trust security clearance is required to be considered for this position. (We are not able to sponsor candidates for a security clearance)

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in any field. (A technical specialization is preferred)
