ProSync is seeking a part-time Program Manager to oversee the ISSO Support Services Team, maintain security compliance, and ensure RMF documentation accuracy for government systems. The PM will manage POA&M tracking, vulnerability status, and audit preparation while coordinating with system owners and government leads.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in federal cybersecurity, with a PMP recommended and CISSP/CISM Level III certification required.

Qualifications

Job description

ProSync is seeking a passionateProgram Manager (PM) in a part-time capacity to oversee the ISSO Support Services Team and is responsible for maintaining security compliance, documentation accuracy, and continuous monitoring for government systems. They will oversee routine cybersecurity governance functions such as POA&M tracking, RMF documentation updates, vulnerability status maintenance, audit preparation, and system owner coordination. This department ensures systems stay compliant with FISMA and NIST requirements daily.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The PM & Sr. ISSO Lead oversees the operational structure focusing on ISSO Support Services. They ensure the department operates in alignment with governance standards, RMF expectations, and contract performance objectives.

• Provides executive leadership across ISSO security governance and RMF assessment operations.


• Oversees planning cycles, milestones, and multi-team synchronization to maintain compliance readiness.


• Manages stakeholder engagement, overseeing coordination between ISSOs, Assessors, government leads, and system owners.

• 10+ years' experience in federal cybersecurity environments.


• A PMP certification is recommended, but not required.


• A CISSP, CISM, or other IAT/IAM Level III certification is required.


• Demonstrated experience leading ISSO teams.


• A minimum active Public Trust clearance or higher is required to be considered for this position. (We are not able to sponsor candidates for a security clearance.)

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in any field. A Master's degree in any field is preferred.
