Job summary

The Richmond Group USA is partnering with a growing manufacturing client in the Richmond, Virginia area to identify an Industrial Engineer for a key production operation. This hands-on role focuses on designing, implementing, and improving dedicated production cells and value streams on the shop floor.

You will develop line balances, staffing models, and optimize layouts while leading continuous improvement initiatives and acting as a bridge between engineering and production to enhance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
• Strong understanding of IE fundamentals including work measurement, line balancing, capacity planning, and production flow.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, standard work, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Working knowledge of 2D CAD for manufacturing layout development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into improvements.

The TRG Growth Practice is excited to be partnering with a growing manufacturing client to identify an Industrial Engineer for a key operation in the Richmond, Virginia area.

This is a unique opportunity to join a stable organization experiencing exciting growth and play a highly visible role in designing, implementing, and improving dedicated production cells and value streams.

This role is ideal for a hands-on Industrial Engineer who enjoys being on the manufacturing floor and working directly with operators and production leadership to solve problems. You'll have the opportunity to develop line balances and staffing models, optimize facility and value stream layouts, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and help build processes that support significant business growth. This position will also serve as an important link between engineering and production, identifying opportunities to improve manufacturability, efficiency, quality, and overall flow.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering
