Jobot is seeking an experienced HR/Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations in Lakewood, CA. You will oversee weekly payroll for ~500 California employees, ensure accuracy, and partner with Finance on reporting.

The role covers benefits administration, HR policy implementation, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws. On-site position with a focus on process improvement and strong internal controls.

Formación

• Experience managing payroll for a large California-based payroll system.
• Knowledge of union payroll, prevailing wage, and benefits deductions.
• Strong understanding of payroll tax compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage the accurate and timely processing of weekly payroll for ~500 employees across California.
• Oversee full-cycle payroll for hourly and salaried staff, including hours, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws and prevailing wage requirements.
• Coordinate payroll-related tax reporting, garnishments, and benefits withholdings.
• Develop and maintain payroll controls, processes, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Finance and HR on reporting and audits.
