The ideal candidate has payroll leadership experience, expertise with Paycor and ERP systems, and the ability to mentor Payroll Specialists in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of California payroll laws and wage-and-hour regulations.
• Experience supervising payroll staff.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll processing for 550 employees in California.
• Ensure accurate and timely payrolls, including off-cycle runs.
• Review timecards, deductions, and employee changes.
• Maintain compliance with California wage-and-hour regulations.
• Lead payroll reconciliations, reporting, and audits.
• Mentor Payroll Specialists and improve processes.
