We are seeking a results-oriented Sr. HR Consultant - Employee Relations with a strong Generalist background to join our People & Culture Operations Team. This talented individual will support our various businesses, focusing on complex employee relations issues and conduct investigations.

This role will be based out of our Lisle, Illinois headquarters.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct employee investigations and employee relations, along with a variety of generalist duties.
  • Document and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of all ER cases.
  • Maintain good and consistent communication with managers and employees regarding pending cases.
  • Interpret and ensure consistency of HR policies and practices.
  • Work cross-functionally with legal, compliance, HR Business Partners, COEs, etc., to plan and implement initiatives and processes.
  • Collaborate closely with site leaders to ensure policies and procedures are understood, communicated, and consistently administered.
  • Lead change initiatives.
  • Manage projects related to key cross-functional programs and priorities.
  • Analyze data to inform critical business decisions.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 8 years of human resources experience
  • At least 1 year of leadership experience

OR

  • Master’s degree
  • At least 6 years of human resources experience
  • At least 1 year of leadership experience

OR

  • At least 10 years of human resources experience
  • At least 1 year of leadership experience
Additional Requirements
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee).
Desired Skills
  • Experience handling employee relations investigations independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and act as a liaison.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Solid judgment and risk assessment skills.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Respectful, approachable, and team-oriented attitude to foster a positive environment.
