Position Overview

We are seeking a results-oriented Sr. HR Consultant - Employee Relations with a strong Generalist background to join our People & Culture Operations Team. This talented individual will support our various businesses, focusing on complex employee relations issues and conduct investigations.

This role will be based at our Lisle, Illinois headquarters.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct employee investigations and manage employee relations, along with a variety of generalist duties.
  • Document and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of all ER cases.
  • Communicate effectively with managers and employees regarding pending cases.
  • Interpret and ensure consistency of HR policies and practices.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, compliance, HR Business Partners, COEs, etc., to plan and implement initiatives and processes.
  • Work closely with site leaders to ensure policies and procedures are understood, communicated, and consistently applied.
  • Lead change initiatives.
  • Manage projects related to key cross-functional programs and priorities.
  • Analyze data to inform critical business decisions.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of HR experience, with a minimum of 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Alternatively, a Master’s degree with at least 6 years of HR experience and 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Or, at least 10 years of HR experience with 1 year in a leadership capacity.
Additional Requirements
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee).

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Sound judgment and risk assessment skills.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.
