Job description

Compensation: $25.10/hr

The Employee Relations Specialist supports the organization’s employee relations and performance improvement initiatives by collaborating with supervisors and senior leadership to monitor, coach, and document employee performance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  1. Works with supervisors and senior leadership regarding customer care requirements, coordinating corrective action, and follow-up coaching activities to ensure performance improvement support is provided.
  2. Provides monthly reports to senior leadership outlining data regarding the status of CCR performance improvement plans.
  3. Works with supervisors, monitoring the required monthly documentation for resolution of success/discipline plans in UKG.
  4. Conducts auditing of the introductory period to ensure staff are properly coached, have documented goals, and provides supervisors guidance as needed.
  5. Assists with event report investigations and reconciliation in conjunction with Senior Manager Employee Relations.
  6. Investigates Samba notifications concerning license suspensions and reports any legal concerns to Senior Manager Employee Relations.
  7. Works with the HR Administrative Assistant to support departure and Samba notification processes.
  8. Works with the HR Administration Coordinator to assist in handling unemployment claim responses, attending hearings, and other related duties.
  9. Assists in providing training on HR-related topics as needed.
  10. Manages and oversees the voluntary resignation process.
  11. Works with the Senior Manager and Senior Director to oversee and manage the employee relations tracking database.
  12. Generates reports as requested or needed.
  13. Assists in internal and external audits as required.
  14. Provides backup support for Human Resources staff when needed.
  15. Assists with special projects as assigned.

Bachelor's degree required; Human Resources or related field preferred.

WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in human resources preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel preferred.
