Job summary

A2e Technologies is seeking a Sr. H/W Design Engineer/Signal Integrity to join our hybrid team in San Diego, CA. The role focuses on designing complex digital boards with high-end FPGA devices and ensuring robust signal integrity for high-speed interfaces.

The contract-to-perm position requires hands-on experience with FPGA architectures, power delivery, and SI/PI simulations. Security clearances are a plus, and US citizenship or a green card is required.

Qualifications

• Experience designing complex digital boards with high-end SoC FPGA devices.
• Experience with high-speed signals (USB, 10G Ethernet, DDR4, GB IOs on FPGAs).
• Power supply design for high-end microprocessors and FPGAs.
• Signal integrity, power integrity and SI/PI simulations.
• Familiarity with Altium.
• EMC certification experience.
• Military and space design experience.
• Security clearance is a plus.

• Experience designing complex digital boards with higher end SoC type FPGAs from Altera, Xilinx, MicroSemi
• Experience with high speed signals and devices (USB, 10G Enet, DDR4, GigaBit IOs on FPGAs)
• Power supply design for high-end microprocessors and FPGA
• Signal and Power Integrity experience and simulation tools
• Experience with Altium
• EMC certification experience
• Military and Space Design experience
• Security Clearance: Nice To Have!
