Job summary

A2e Technologies in San Diego, CA, is seeking a Sr. Hardware Design Engineer with signal integrity expertise for a hybrid work arrangement.

The role focuses on designing complex digital boards with high-end SoC FPGAs (Altera, Xilinx, MicroSemi) and laying out power and interfaces for fast subsystems. The candidate should have SI/PI experience, Altium proficiency, EMC certification background, and ideally security clearance; US citizenship or green card required.

Qualifications

• Experience designing complex digital boards with high-end SoC FPGAs (Altera, Xilinx, MicroSemi).
• Experience with high-speed signals and devices (USB, 10G Ethernet, DDR4, Gigabit IOs on FPGAs).
• Power supply design for high-end microprocessors and FPGAs.
• Signal and Power Integrity experience and simulation tools.
• Experience with Altium.
• EMC certification experience.
• Military and Space design experience.
• Security clearance: nice to have.
