Job summary

A2e Technologies in San Diego is seeking an FPGA Design Engineer for a long-term contract-to-perm engagement onsite. The role requires extensive FPGA experience, including VHDL and SystemVerilog, with hands-on bring-up on hardware and interfaces.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in cryptography-related design and packet handling, and may have Microchip FPGA exposure. A government clearance is required; this is a full-time onsite position in a federally-contracted environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of FPGA design experience.
• Strong VHDL skills; SystemVerilog knowledge.
• Deep bring-up experience.
• Cryptography experience preferred.
• Experience with packet handling and external digital interfaces.

• Bring-up FPGA designs on hardware platforms.
