Job summary

A2e Technologies in San Diego is seeking an experienced FPGA Design Engineer for a contract-to-perm, onsite role with long-term potential. The position requires active government clearance and 10+ years of FPGA design experience with VHDL and SystemVerilog.

You will contribute to bring-up, handle cryptography-related features, and work with external digital interfaces and packet handling. Microchip FPGA experience is a plus; candidates must be available ASAP.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of FPGA design experience.
• Strong VHDL and SystemVerilog skills.
• Bring-Up experience and external interfaces.
• Cryptography experience preferred.
• Packet handling and external digital interfaces experience.
• Active government clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Perform FPGA bring-up and validation tasks.
• Develop and verify cryptography-related features as needed.
• Handle packet processing and external digital interfaces.
• Collaborate onsite in a long-term contract/permanent role.
