Job summary

A2e Technologies is seeking a Senior Hardware Design Engineer for a Hybrid role in San Diego, CA. The position focuses on designing complex digital boards using high-end FPGA SoCs and managing high-speed interfaces and power integrity in a dynamic aerospace/defense environment.

Qualified candidates will have FPGA experience from Altera/Intel, Xilinx, or MicroSemi, expertise in SI/PI and related simulation tools, hands-on Altium skills, and EMC exposure.

Qualifications

• Experience designing complex digital boards with higher end SoC type FPGAs from Altera, Xilinx, MicroSemi.
• Experience with high speed signals and devices (USB, 10G Enet, DDR4, GigaBit IOs on FPGAs).
• Power supply design for high-end microprocessors and FPGA.
• Signal and Power Integrity experience and simulation tools.
• Experience with Altium.
• EMC certification experience.
• Military and Space Design experience.
• Security Clearance: Nice To Have!
