Job summary

A2e Technologies is seeking a Sr. FPGA Design Engineer for a contract role in Redmond. The position requires 10+ years of FPGA/modem design experience, focusing on Ultrascale+ and Versal platforms, VHDL and SystemVerilog, and high-speed SerDes.

Strong scripting and integration experience are essential. Responsibilities include design, simulation, and verification, with exposure to Ethernet, PCIe, SPI, I2C, and UART interfaces.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of FPGA/Modem design experience.
• Experience with Ultrascale+ and Versal platforms.
• Proficient in VHDL and SystemVerilog.
• Design and simulate FPGA designs and verify timing.
• Experience with high-speed SerDes.
• Solid scripting skills (Python, Perl, Bash, TCL).

Responsibilities

• Design and simulate FPGA/Modem designs.
• Work with high-speed interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, UART).

Start Date: ASAP

• 10+Years experience:
• FPGA/Modem Design
• Ultrascale+ & Versal
• VHDL & SystemVerilog
• Design and Simulate
• High-speed Serdes
• Solid scripting (python, pearl, bash, tcl, …)

Solid Communication interfaces such as: Ethernet, Interlocken, PCIe, SPI, I2C, UART,etc

Nice to Have:

• Active Government Clearance
• Software Defined Radio/Modem Design background
• Some Petalinux Background
• Background in RF design
• Encryption experience
