Job summary

A2e Technologies is seeking a Sr. Hardware Design Engineer specializing in signal integrity for high-end FPGA based digital boards. Hybrid work arrangement in the San Diego area with a contract-to-perm path. Start date ASAP.

Responsibilities include designing boards with high-end SoCs/FPGAs, proving high-speed interfaces (USB, 10G Ethernet, DDR4), and ensuring SI/PI integrity through simulation and EMC practices. Security clearance is a nice-to-have asset.

Qualifications

• Experience designing complex digital boards with high-end FPGA SoCs from Altera, Xilinx, MicroSemi.
• Experience with high-speed signals and devices (USB, 10G Ethernet, DDR4, gigabit IOs on FPGAs).
• Power supply design for high-end microprocessors and FPGA.
• Signal and Power Integrity experience and simulation tools.
• EMC certification experience.
• Military and space design experience.
• Security clearance: nice to have.
