Job summary

A2e Technologies is seeking a Sr. Hardware Design Engineer specializing in signal integrity for complex digital boards with FPGA-based SoCs. The role is hybrid in San Diego, with ASAP start and contract-to-perm potential.

You will design, simulate, and verify high-speed interfaces (USB, 10G Ethernet, DDR4) and power delivery for high-end processors, ensuring SI/PI integrity and compliance with EMC requirements. US citizenship or GC required; security clearance is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience designing complex digital boards with high-end FPGA SoCs
• Experience with high-speed signals such as USB, 10G Ethernet, and DDR4 on FPGAs
• Power supply design for high-end microprocessors and FPGAs
• Signal and Power Integrity experience and simulation tools
• Experience with Altium
• EMC certification experience
• Military and Space design experience
• Security Clearance: Nice To Have!

• Experience with high speed signals and devices (USB, 10G Enet, DDR4, GigaBit IOs on FPGAs)
• Power supply design for high-end microprocessors and FPGA
• Signal and Power Integrity experience and simulation tools
• Experience with Altium
• EMC certification experience
• Military and Space Design experience
• Security Clearance: Nice To Have!
