Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will execute service work according to work instructions, ABB quality, and safety guidelines. You will deliver quality customer service by planning and executing service tasks based on customer orders and expectations. You will demonstrate your expertise by ensuring customer retention through effective communication of service timelines and expectations. The work model is remote, contributing to the Electrification Smart Power division in Northern Virginia. Your main responsibilities include:

1. Collaborating with on-site customers to identify operational improvement opportunities and eliminate pain points.
2. Performing field service tasks, troubleshooting technical issues, and conducting analysis remotely or on-site for certified service categories and products.
3. Preparing material lists and ensuring the availability and quality of all materials, parts, and equipment needed for service activities.
4. Acting as a trainer for field service associates and customers when needed.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or Technical School training.
• Minimum of 5 years experience servicing critical power equipment or equivalent education and professional experience.
• Broad experience in Field Service or related roles focusing on Critical Power Systems (UPS, Power Distribution, Static Switch, Battery, and Power Conditioning Systems).
• Experience with Medium Voltage power conditioning and distribution equipment is a plus.
• Must have work authorization to work for ABB in the US.
