POSITION SUMMARY
This position oversees multiple facilities, campuses, or client portfolios, with at least one Facilities Manager or Assistant Facilities Manager reporting directly. The Senior Facilities Manager is responsible for implementing policies, procedures, and programs to ensure well-maintained buildings and facilities. The role emphasizes leading staff to respond effectively to tenant needs, environmental health and safety, and quality standards, aligning with client goals. It acts as the primary liaison with the client and coordinates services, financials, vendors, and manpower for current and future operations. The role also includes responsibility for financial and KPI performance within the portfolio.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee daily operations ensuring effective service delivery across all facility aspects, including custodial, life-safety, engineering, and maintenance, in accordance with company policies and ownership directives.
• Manage service contracts cost-effectively, oversee performance and financial reviews, conduct RFPs, and ensure contractual compliance.
• Lead the maintenance team to manage interior and exterior conditions and overall facility appearance and operation.
• Ensure responsive and positive communication with clients and tenants.
• Regularly review service contracts and client/tenant needs to address issues promptly and effectively.
• Prepare and present budget reports, financial statements, and contract summaries.
• Develop annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and contribute to long-term capital planning.
• Collect and analyze data to assess management objectives, work order productivity, and cost savings, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee staffing, hiring, training, and performance evaluations of facility management personnel.
• Maintain excellent customer relations and ensure compliance with insurance and claims procedures.

IMPORTANT EDUCATION
• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Real Estate, Project Management, or Business Administration.
IMPORTANT EXPERIENCE
• 8-10 years in facility management, including at least 3 years at a managerial level.
• Experience in leasing, construction, engineering, and property operations.
• Human resources and performance management experience.
• Critical systems environment experience preferred.
• CMMS/Work Order Management experience preferred.

Compensation varies based on location, experience, and other factors, with a minimum of the legal wage. The salary range for this role is $110,500 - $130,000.
