What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of a scalable, high-performance Health data interface engine
- Create technical design artifacts considering system dependencies, failure states, and maintainability
- Partner with various stakeholders to guide the execution of the strategic roadmap
- Develop and implement performance metrics for high-volume HL7 v2 interfaces
- Lead process improvement initiatives across the department
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 10+ years of experience in a Health Technology Environment, with a proven track record in scalable data interfaces
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience leading teams and managing direct reports
- Strong knowledge of industry-leading HL7 interface engines such as Iguana or Intersystem
- Hands-on experience working with AWS and serverless technologies
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with design and development of HL7 FHIR, HL7 CDA, and HL7 v2
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Golang, Python, or Java
- Experience with Agile methodologies and implementing DevOps practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
