What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of a scalable, high-performance health data interface engine
- Create technical design artifacts considering system dependencies, failure states, and maintainability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute the strategic roadmap aligned with overall program vision
- Develop and implement performance metrics to enhance the effectiveness of high-volume HL7 v2 interfaces
- Lead process improvement initiatives across the department

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 10+ years of experience in a health technology environment with a focus on scalable, high-volume data interfaces
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience leading teams and managing direct reports
- Strong knowledge of HL7 interface engines such as Iguana and Intersystems
- Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS and serverless architectures
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with a strong commitment to project goals

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with programming languages such as Golang, Python, and Java
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Background in designing systems with observability for performance monitoring
