Job summary

Westmore Beauty seeks a data-driven Senior Creative Strategist to own paid social creative strategy and translate performance insights into compelling ad concepts. You will brief and manage UGC creators, freelance designers, and editors, while performing light edits to quickly test hooks and formats.

You will lead a pipeline of concepts across Meta/TikTok, analyze weekly results, and stay ahead of trends to drive growth in the Growth Marketing department.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years in paid social creative strategy or related role.
• Proven ability to translate data into compelling ad concepts.
• Strong writing and brief development skills for creators.
• Experience managing multiple concepts, creators, and timelines.
• Proficiency with CapCut, Figma or similar tools.
• Active use of AI tools to accelerate concept generation and edits.
• Experience working with freelance creatives or agencies.
• Industry experience in prestige beauty or adjacent lifestyle categories is a plus.

General Summary:

We’re looking for a data-driven creative thinker to own our paid social creative strategy. You will be the connective tissue between performance insights and creative output, turning what we know about our customers and paid social channels into compelling ad concepts that convert.

You will brief and manage UGC creators, freelance designers and video editors for new concepts and roll up your sleeves to handle lightweight edits yourself including trimming UGC clips, creating hook variations, or editing copy for static assets.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a paid social creative strategy across Meta, TikTok, and AppLovin, grounded in performance data and product positioning


• Generate a steady pipeline of fresh ad concepts and copy — video scripts, hooks, UGC briefs, static concepts, and carousel frameworks — tailored to each platform and customer persona


• Write detailed creative briefs for UGC creators, freelance designers and video editors, including concept rationale, visual direction, copy, format specs, and reference examples


• Handle light production work independently: trimming and captioning UGC footage, creating hook variations, resizing and iterating on static ads, or assembling quick test assets


• Manage the creative production workflow from concept through delivery, coordinating freelancers and ensuring assets are trafficked to the Paid Social Manager on schedule


• Analyze creative performance data weekly and use findings to iterate on winning concepts and identify new testing opportunities


• Stay current on platform creative trends, competitor activity, and beauty category content to continuously inform the creative roadmap


• Leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Runway, or similar) to accelerate concept generation, script drafting, creative iteration, and light asset production

Experience and Skills:

• 5-7+ years of experience in paid social creative strategy, performance marketing creative, or a closely related role


• Deep fluency in Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok paid environments — you understand what makes an ad stop the scroll on each platform


• A portfolio of paid social creative work with measurable performance results you can speak to


• Strong written communication and brief-writing skills — you can translate a vague idea into a precise, actionable creative direction


• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concepts, creators, and timelines simultaneously.


• Working proficiency in at least one lightweight production tool — CapCut, Figma, Adobe Express, or similar


• Active, fluent use of AI tools in your day-to-day work — we want someone who has meaningfully integrated AI into how they work


• Experience managing freelance creatives or external production partners


• Experience in prestige beauty, skincare, or adjacent lifestyle categories is a strong plus


• A collaborative working style — you know how to give feedback to creatives in a way that elevates the work
