Job summary

Ascension is seeking a skilled professional for remote work in the Revenue Net Management department. The role supports Medicare/Medicaid reporting, audits, and funding applications with a focus on hospital cost reporting in an acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of Medicare hospital cost reporting experience in an acute care hospital or health system setting.
• Demonstrated familiarity with Graduate Medical Education (GME) / Indirect Medical Education (IME), Organ Acquisition reimbursement, Wage Index (WI), and Occupational Mix Survey (OMS) requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare hospital cost reports and reply to audit requests.
• Prepare annual Medicaid DSH and UC funding applications and audits.
• Prepare Uncompensated Trauma Care funding applications.
• Complete monthly analysis for third party settlements related to Medicare and Medicaid.
