Northern Trust's Tempe office is seeking a Lead for large and complex projects within the Business Process Management function. The role focuses on end-to-end process analysis, design, and integrating new processes with existing operations to support future business needs.

Ideal candidates will have a college degree, industry qualifications such as ACCA, and strong leadership and communication skills to guide teams and manage cross-functional initiatives.

Summary

Responsible for serving as Lead on large and complex projects. The Business Process Management function is responsible for an end-to-end process analysis and design with an understanding of technical and operating challenges and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment. Role creates process change by integrating new processes with existing ones and communicating these changes. Subject matter expertise is beneficial. Typically would have some type of certification such as six sigma.

Major Duties
  • Responsible for researching and responding to complex inquiries related to client onboarding, documentation, CITS services and operational processes.
  • May work as part of a team or multiple locations model that provide high quality, interim solutions to CITS function teams, client servicing teams or clients.
  • Will support activities large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficult and complex, therefore, must have in-depth knowledge of the business unit/function.
  • Provides leadership in developing, implementing and administrating change that support the strategic goals.
  • Role balanced between execution of the business strategic goals and high level operational development and implementation.
  • Provides consultative oversight and expert advice on operational capabilities to client servicing teams, project committees and management. Consults with leadership, team and partners at a high technical level.
  • Operates independently; has in-depth knowledge of business unit / function.
  • Strategic in developing, implementing and administering programs within functional areas.
