Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a team member for its Tempe office to support electronic funds movements, wire transfers, and cheque issues within defined procedures. You will assist with audit documentation for global accounts and help identify discrepancies against standard instructions.

This role participates in Cash Ops projects and mentors junior staff. The candidate will handle complex tasks with significant financial and client impact, leveraging expertise across related areas and aiming to

Qualifications

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills are required.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is required.
  • Knowledge on financial instruments and basic terminology related to custody services is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate electronic movements of funds, wires transfers and cheque issues within defined procedures.
  • Assist in audit document preparation pertaining to global accounts and identify discrepancies vs. standard instructions.
  • Participate in groups that work on projects for the Cash Ops larger team.
  • Carry out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact.
  • Serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other junior level employees.
  • Be more technically sound in area of expertise and have broader knowledge of other areas.
  • Deliver work product that requires less revision.
  • Facilitate discussions and reach decisions.

Education

A College or University degree and/or some relevant work experience is preferred. Related Industry qualification / or studying towards, is preferred

Major Duties
