Responsibilities

• Partner with HR to guidance on total compensation issues, base pay, bonuses and long-term incentives.
• Advise stakeholders on salary offers, market analyses and job evaluations.
• Administer incentive plans with accurate bonus calculations and controls.
• Model bonus payouts with finance to inform accruals for plans.
• Lead compensation projects including analysis, system implementation, and impact assessments.
• Conduct annual reviews (internal equity, merit, compa-ratio) as needed.
• Prepare ad-hoc compensation analyses for team and partners.
• Participate in compensation surveys to ensure market alignment.

What we need:

The Sr Compensation Analyst is a high performing contributor that serves as a subject matter expert within the compensation function supporting the Flooring North American segment. This role acts as a consultant to the business on compensation programs, policies, and practices. This role will collaborate with Human Resource partners concerning compensation business needs and decisions and lead research and analysis related to compensation programs and structures.

What you’ll do:

• Partner with business HR to provide guidance to the business and develops creative solutions on a variety of total compensation issues including the setting of appropriate pay levels, base pay, annual incentive pay, local bonus plans, and long-term incentive programs.
• Consults with and advise stakeholders on compensation policy interpretation, new hire offers, promotions, market analyses, job evaluations, and other compensation projects and initiatives.
• Administer management incentive plans, ensuring accurate and timely calculation of bonuses while applying established controls and validation checks.
• Partner with business segment finance to model bonus plan payouts to inform accurate accruals needed for bonus plans.
• Lead and/or oversee the technical end of various business segment compensation projects. May include impact analysis, modeling, system implementation, etc.
• Conduct various annual reviews including internal equity, merit movement, compa-ratio, and other metrics for analysis, as needed.
• Prepare ad-hoc compensation analyses as requested by team and business partners.
• Participate in and analyze data from relevant compensation surveys to ensure market alignment and adherence to the compensation philosophy.
• Review and approve proposed salary and incentive compensation changes for clients to ensure business and equity alignment.
• Execute business segment annual compensation programs including annual cycle increases, bonus payouts, and business level stock plan alignment.
• Develop and support compensation communications, job aids, and training materials to improve understanding of compensation processes.
• Analyze internal methods and identify areas of improvements and/or innovation and develop recommendations to implement and streamline processes.
• Participates in cross-functional projects, representing the Compensation team.
• Serve as an experienced analytical resource within the team by applying sound judgement, reviewing analyses, and informally supporting less experienced analysts on complex issues.
• Performs other duties as needed.

What you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
• 4-6 years relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
• Advanced Excel skills preferred
• Power BI experience preferred
