Position Overview:

Arxada is looking for a Senior Process Engineer. The Process Engineer will design and implement systems, equipment, and procedures used in a chemical manufacturing facility. Main duties include evaluating, testing, and monitoring equipment, correcting or updating current systems and processes, conducting risk assessments, and managing projects and contractors as required.

The expected salary range for this role is $122,000-142,000, but specific employee compensation may vary depending on factors including experience, education, training, licensure, certification, location, and other job-related, non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.

Essential Job Functions:

• Process and automation improvements must satisfy requirements from EHSS, Quality, Business, and Upper Management.
• Catalog, oversee, maintain, and verify all processes in the plant. Audit production for compliance and validate functionality and efficiency of each process.
• Identify root causes in relevant nonconformances including process design, mechanical integrity, human error, environmental (facility design, climate, etc.), or administrative.
• Provide detailed records of investigations when necessary for later reference.
• Participate in the development of SOPs for day-to-day operations and testing procedures.
• Participate in the testing, evaluation, modification, and calibration/configuration of instruments and other equipment.
• Organize detailed scope documents, preliminary designs, meeting notes, workflow notes and diagrams, and process descriptions for new processes.
• Catalog all final drawings, mass balances, procedures, troubleshooting guides, Environmental Information, and capacity/operating limit records.
• Manage small and medium projects for changes to existing processes or installation of new manufacturing/process equipment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• HS diploma/GED; Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering (preferred).
• Forklift and SFQ certification required.
• 5 plus years chemical processing experience.
