Business Optimization & Solutions Department

The team manages processes used across Vantage, working with stakeholders to standardize processes and systems globally, ensuring a consistent customer experience from data center development to operations and sales. The focus is on standardization and continuous improvement, process validation, and increasing efficiency through governance and systematic execution.

Position Overview

This role can be based remotely in the US.

We seek a meticulous, hands-on Process Development Engineer to support standardization and improvement projects. Reporting to the Business Optimization and Solutions Director, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders globally on the gating framework, including process mapping, workflow analysis, and deviation analysis. Your work will help optimize processes, standardize procedures, and contribute to cost-saving initiatives.

Essential Job Functions

• Engage with stakeholders to understand their processes and approval workflows within the gating framework.
• Maintain and develop company processes, procedures, and best practices.
• Conduct process and workflow mapping, and analyze deviations across Vantage.
• Catalog business processes, pain points, and risks with internal stakeholders.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on process standards and improvements.
• Develop process maps and improvement plans from conceptual ideas to detailed documentation.
• Identify risks and schedule issues related to projects.
• Review and evaluate process proposals, considering cost, scope, and schedule impacts.
• Ensure project scope and assumptions are accurately documented and supported.
• Research new process improvement techniques and develop roadmaps aligned with sustainability and business goals.
• Collaborate with peers on continuous process improvement.
• Analyze documentation to prepare or review project estimates and validate contractor pricing.
• Implement lessons learned to ensure accurate and competitive process data.
• Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and partners.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Process Mapping, Workflow, and Project Management experience.
• Lean Sigma Six or PCQ certification.
• 8+ years of related experience.
• Experience with process governance, systems like ServiceNow and Salesforce.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Word.

Additional Information

• Travel up to 20%, possibly more.
• Physical demands include occasional lifting up to 25 pounds and other activities typical of office work.
• Salary Range: $135,000-$150,000 plus bonus, based on location and experience.
