Job Description

Our client is a leader in specialty polymer products used in multiple different industries. They currently seek a Senior Process Engineer to join their facility in the Chicago suburbs. This position offers promotion opportunity to Plant Management.

As a Senior Process Engineer, job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Offer technical knowledge to contribute to production development
• Recognize and lead opportunities for improvement projects
• Manage site PSM program and procedures
• Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective actions
• Troubleshoot Delta V issues
• Manage and develop a team of engineers

Salary Range: $130,000 - $140,000 + bonus

Job Requirements

As a Senior Process Engineer, job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

• BS in Chemical Engineering
• 8+ years of experience in a process/production role in chemical manufacturing
• Previous R&D scale up, project management, quality, and troubleshooting experience
• Experience in a PSM-regulated facility
• Previous Delta V experience
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies is ideal
