Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation seeks a strategic analytics professional to drive Medicare Advantage VBC strategy and alternative payment model design across primary care, facilities, and specialty programs.

You will synthesize analytics, market insights, and business needs to inform program strategy, evaluate performance, and develop contracting templates and executive-ready recommendations, with remote work options within the continental United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 5+ years in business analysis, process improvement, project management, or health care operations
• 3 years leading large multi-million-dollar projects
• Experience presenting to senior management and cross-functional teams
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, across departments
• Knowledge of strategic planning techniques and industry trends
• Ability to interpret business and financial information and negotiate effectively
• Organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple projects

Job Summary

This position supports the strategy, design, growth, and optimization of Medicare Advantage provider Value-Based Care (VBC) programs and alternative payment models across primary care, facility, and specialty programs.

Responsibilities

• Integrating analytical findings, market insights, and business needs to inform VBC program strategy and design
• Evaluating program performance and identifying strategic enhancements
• Developing VBC contracting strategies
• Developing VBC contract templates and program documentation
• Creating executive-ready recommendations and presentations

Required Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience OR 9 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, project management, business operations or relevant health care industry experience
• 3 years of experience leading with large and complex multi-million-dollar projects
• Experience communicating with senior management from multiple divisions
• Experience developing and delivering presentations
• Problem resolution experience and skills
• Knowledge of strategic planning techniques and industry trends
• Experience interpreting business and financial information and negotiation skills
• Verbal and written communication skills including establishing working relationships across departments, preparing presentations to senior management and establishing team environment
• Organizational skills and detail oriented
• Experience managing multiple complex projects successfully
• PC proficiency to include MS Office products

Preferred Job Qualifications

• Master’s degree, such as an MBA, MPH, MHA, or related advanced degree
• Direct experience with Medicare Advantage VBC strategy and alternative payment model design
• Experience with provider network strategy, provider contracting/value-based contracting, contract development, provider performance, or Medicare Advantage Stars
• Experience partnering with analytical teams and translating analytical findings into strategic insights and decisions
• Proven strategic thinking and execution
• Ability to drive decisions, create optionality and determine impacts of options

Base Pay Range

$69,800.00 - $125,900.00
