An established industry player is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join a dynamic team in the custom retail manufacturing sector. This role is pivotal during a merger, requiring a proactive self-starter to navigate through sparse documentation and ambiguous environments. You will collaborate closely with technical peers to map new processes and systems, transitioning into traditional business analysis and project management focused on Ecommerce and ERP systems. If you thrive in fast-paced settings and have a knack for digging deep for answers, this opportunity is perfect for you.
Overview:
We're seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst with strong technical chops and a self-starter mindset to join a high-impact team in the custom retail manufacturing space. You'll be stepping into an environment in the middle of a merger, where documentation is sparse and answers aren't easily found. Your mission: dig deep, connect the dots, and drive discovery in a diverse and dynamic tech landscape.
This is not a stakeholder-facing role in the traditional sense - your primary collaborators will be technical peers. You'll play a key role in mapping net-new processes and systems in a fast-paced, evolving environment. After this initial project phase, the role will transition into more traditional BA/project work focused on Ecommerce and ERP systems and work tied to those areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead discovery efforts in a post-merger environment with limited documentation
Engage with diverse tech teams to gather, clarify, and document technical requirements
Wear multiple hats - blending BA work with some light PM responsibilities
Map and analyze custom manufacturing workflows and ERP integrations
Write basic SQL queries for data analysis and validation
Translate technical findings into clear documentation and action plans
Operate independently with minimal guidance - a true self-starter
Ideal Candidate Has:
5+ years as a Business Analyst, preferably in custom manufacturing or ERP-related roles
Experience with Infor M3 ERP and Supply Chain / Manufacturing systems (not a must have)
Strong technical acumen - able to operate confidently in development-heavy environments
Proven ability to "dig" for answers in ambiguous, unstructured environments
Prior experience working through a merger or acquisition is a big plus
Some project management capability
Spanish fluency is a bonus, not required
Ability to write and interpret SQL queries
Familiarity with custom software written inAngular (on AWS), Azure, JIRA, Agile methodologies
