Overview

The Blue Yonder Sr. Business Consultant provides process and functional product expertise on customer implementations of BY solutions. They work closely with the customer to understand their business needs and align a quality solution that adds business value.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare and deliver presentations for user, management, and executive audiences.
2. Advise customers on industry best practices and process methodology, building trust.
3. Participate in business process analysis/design, construction, validation, and deployment phases. Understand how the solutions can be configured to facilitate customer processes.
4. Develop functional specifications for modifications, interfaces, reports, and screens to meet business objectives.
5. Create and update procedural and system documentation throughout the project.
6. Develop and execute test scripts to ensure the software meets business objectives.
7. Provide non-technical support during the "go-live" period, supporting users and verifying system functions and data integrity.
8. Identify and highlight revenue opportunities within existing customers/projects.
9. Support key meetings between project stakeholders, customer teams, and leadership.
10. Ensure knowledge transfer to the customer's project team.
11. Communicate business cases and product enhancement needs to management.
12. Communicate the value proposition of solutions to customers.
13. Understand and clarify customer business requirements, resolving misunderstandings.
14. Escalate issues impacting schedule or finances.
15. Accurately estimate specifications.
16. Work with the project team to understand and detail functional requirements.
17. Guide the customer team through all project phases.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field; MSc/PhD preferred.
2. Experience in supply chain execution in retail, manufacturing, and 3PL businesses.
3. Familiarity with warehouse processes.
4. Ability to manage customer expectations regarding functional issues.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent presentation, organizational, and communication skills.

The salary range for this position is $85,788 - $108,212 USD. The actual salary will depend on experience and other factors. The role may include bonuses or commissions.
