Overview

The Blue Yonder Sr Business Consultant provides process and functional product expertise on customer implementations of BY solutions. They work closely with the customer to understand their business needs and align a quality solution that adds business value.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver presentations for user, management, and executive level audiences.
• Provide advice to customers regarding industry best practices and process methodology, building trust.
• Participate in business process analysis/design, construction, validation, and deployment phases of the project. Understand how the solutions can be configured and delivered to facilitate customer business processes.
• Develop functional specifications for modifications, interfaces, reports, and screens to meet customer objectives.
• Create and modify procedural and system documentation throughout the project.
• Develop and execute test scripts to ensure software meets business objectives.
• Provide non-technical support during the "go-live" period, ensuring system functionality and data integrity.
• Recognize and highlight incremental revenue opportunities with existing customers/projects.
• Support key meetings between project stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Ensure knowledge transfer with the customer project team.
• Communicate business cases and the value proposition of solutions to stakeholders.
• Understand customer’s business requirements and clarify misunderstandings.
• Escalate issues with potential negative impacts.
• Accurately estimate specifications.
• Work with the project team to understand and define functional requirements.
• Guide customers through all project phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field; MSc/PhD preferred.
• Supply chain execution experience in retail, manufacturing, or 3PL businesses.
• Familiarity with warehouse processes.
• Ability to manage customer expectations regarding functional issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent presentation and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salary Range

$85,788 - $108,212 USD. Compensation depends on skills, experience, and location. Eligible for performance bonuses or commissions.
