Work Location: Chicago

The purpose of this position is to act as the primary Finance contact for the Field Sales teams, with responsibilities spanning both the Sugar and Fruit Snacks business units. As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will provide financial expertise, analysis, and recommendations to enable effective decision-making within the business.

This role involves executing, analyzing, and preparing period close activities, incremental funding requests, forecast analysis, the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and ad hoc financial analyses to support business growth and strategic decisions. You will collaborate closely with Field Sales, PRGM Strategy, Sales Strategy, Brand Finance, and others to develop and execute business plans that meet sales targets and promote profitable growth.

Ways you will make a difference
  • Provide customer insights and analyze drivers of change for key metrics: volume, price, margin, and profitability by brand and pack-type.
  • Identify fluctuations between plan/forecast and actual sales trends; communicate with sales teams and develop solutions to drive sales.
  • Offer insights and analytics to support the development of customer programming that aligns with AOP metrics and accurate forecasts.
  • Execute trade management and support analysis for pricing events and promotions.
  • Communicate deductions status internally via trade systems.
  • Provide insights to senior leadership for in-month and quarterly shipment estimates.
  • Perform net revenue and profitability analysis for incremental funding requests.
  • Assist with ad-hoc and cross-functional projects as needed.
  • Show eagerness to learn new skills and tools to streamline work processes.

Experiences that will support your success
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in CPG preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • SAP and/or High Radius experience is a plus.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $78,750 - $110,250 annually.
