Job summary

Fanatics is seeking a Senior LATAM Payroll Analyst to own end-to-end payroll across Chile, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, and Panama. Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for LATAM payroll across Chile, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico and Panama.
• Manage end-to-end payroll processing with local providers, including statutory filings.
• Ensure accurate calculation and reporting of statutory benefits and country-specific entitlements.
• Oversee compliance with country-specific requirements such as severance and finiquito calculations.
• Coordinate with in-country and third-party payroll vendors and manage SLAs.
• Partner with HR, Finance, and Legal on legislative changes impacting payroll.
• Reconcile payroll results, validate GL files, and coordinate approvals for monthly close.
• Ensure integration of payroll inputs/outputs between Oracle Fusion HCM and ActivPay/ADP Celergo.
• Support audits, document payroll activities, and maintain audit trails.
• Assist payroll system implementations and process improvements across LATAM.

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst, LATAM Payroll to support and execute payroll operations across Latin America. This role requires deep expertise in regional payroll processes, with a strong emphasis on statutory compliance. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion HCM, ActivPay, and ADP Celergo, and thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. You'll be the subject matter expert for LATAM payroll. We have presence in: Chile, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, and Panama, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting across the region. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines hands-on Mexico, Chile, and Central America payroll expertise with a strong understanding of global payroll complexities.

What You'll Do

• Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for LATAM payroll across Chile, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico and Panama, ensuring full compliance with local labor laws and regulations in each jurisdiction.
• Manage end-to-end payroll processing across all five countries in partnership with local payroll providers, including statutory filings: Mexico's IMSS, Infonavit, and ISR withholding; Chile's AFP pension contributions and Fonasa/Isapre health coverage; Panama's Caja de Seguro Social (CSS) and ISR; Honduras' IHSS and RAP contributions; and El Salvador's ISSS and AFP contributions.
• Ensure accurate calculation and reporting of statutory benefits, mandatory contributions, and country-specific entitlements — including Mexico's aguinaldo and PTU (profit sharing), Chile's gratificacion legal and vacation premiums, Panama's decimo tercer mes, and the decimo tercer and decimo cuarto mes payments common across Honduras and El Salvador.
• Oversee compliance with country-specific requirements such as severance and finiquito calculations in Chile, statutory bonus structures across all five countries, paid leave entitlements, and any applicable collective bargaining agreements.
• Coordinate with in-country and third-party payroll vendors across the region; act as primary point of contact and manage vendor performance against SLAs, validate outputs, and resolve escalations.
• Partner with local HR, Finance, and legal stakeholders to stay current on legislative changes impacting payroll, including annual tax table updates, minimum wage adjustments, and social security rate changes across LATAM jurisdictions.
• Reconcile payroll results, validate general ledger (GL) files, and coordinate approvals with internal stakeholders — including monthly close and accruals for all LATAM entities.
• Ensure complete and accurate integration of payroll inputs and outputs between Oracle Fusion HCM and third-party payroll platforms (ActivPay, ADP Celergo).
• Support audits and ensure proper documentation for all LATAM payroll activities, including maintenance of audit trails aligned to local record-retention requirements.
• Support payroll system implementations, enhancements, and process improvements across the region.
• Support all statutory filings, year-end reporting, and compliance requirements in each jurisdiction.
• Provide high-quality support to employees and internal stakeholders on payroll matters across LATAM.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of LATAM payroll experience, including full ownership of end-to-end processing and statutory filings across multiple countries.
• Hands-on experience running payroll via Oracle Fusion HCM (required).
• Experience with ActivPay, ADP Celergo, or comparable payroll platforms.
• Strong understanding of LATAM payroll statutory pay schemes, taxes, and social contributions.
• Experience managing regional payroll vendors and resolving complex payroll issues.
