Job summary

Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: ULH) is seeking a detail-oriented logistics analyst in Mesa, AZ to support inventory quality, production reporting, and KPI tracking within a fast-paced warehousing environment. Responsibilities

• Analyze customer defects on inventory.
• Monitor daily productivity, SOP compliance, KPI performance and invoicing.
• Interact with the customer daily to ensure satisfaction.
• Prepare and review production, quality, safety, and staffing reports.
• Investigate and correct any quality related issues.
• Assist with other tasks assigned by the customer and Quality Supervisor.

Our operation is based in Mesa, AZ and supports Boeing Aerospace in the area. We manage and operate a warehouse facility providing pick and pack, sequencing, and inventory management support.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Analysis of customer reported defects on inventory
• Monitoring daily productivity, SOP compliance, KPI performance and invoicing
• Interacting with the customer on a daily basis and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Expert in Microsoft (Excel) – Other systems: SAP & EWM
• Various reports related to production, quality, safety, timeliness, staffing, maintenance, and discrepancies
• Investigate (and correct) any quality related issues
• Other tasks delegated by the customer and/or Quality Supervisor

The successful candidate will possess the following qualities:

• Experience in transportation, logistics or distribution center environment preferred
• Able to work a maximum 40 hour work week.
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
• Moderate proficiency with office based software
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Associate’s Degree preferred but not required
