Job summary

Universal Logistics is seeking a Floor Supervisor for its GM operations in Lake Orion, MI. You will lead daily warehouse activities, supervise hourly associates, and ensure safe, accurate, and efficient operations across the GM production support and logistics workflow.

You will train and coach team members, monitor performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and accurate daily reporting.

Qualifications

• 0-5 years of supervisory or management experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly associates during assigned shifts to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient operations.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and safety performance while enforcing company policies and procedures.
• Train, coach, and develop team members to meet operational and customer expectations.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound material flow while resolving day-to-day operational issues.
• Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to support workflow, staffing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Complete daily reporting on labor, production, and operational performance while maintaining an organized work environment.
