We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to lead its accounting and financial reporting functions. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role is instrumental in ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting operations including GL, fixed assets, grants, and reconciliations
• Lead month-end/year-end close and financial reporting
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and internal controls
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS, federal, and grant regulations
• Coordinate annual audits and 990 preparation
• Manage and mentor a small accounting team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 15+ years of experience in financial reporting and general ledger accounting
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
• Experience with nonprofit financial management and grants is a plus
