Requirements for the Senior Accounting Manager role:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
• 15-20+ years of accounting experience, preferably with an audit background
• Experience in a public company setting
• Proficiency in inventory and fixed assets accounting
• Experience managing and supervising teams
• CPA certification is highly preferred

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and corporate policies
• Oversee fixed assets, inventory, revenue, leases, and financial reporting
• Manage sections of the month-end close process
• Handle internal labor capitalization, CIP, and inventory management
• Perform GL reconciliations, rollforwards, and variance analysis
• Conduct balance sheet and income statement analysis
• Prepare month-end accruals and journal entries
• Support financial reporting and technical accounting issues
• Assist with system upgrades, implementations, and process improvements
• Support the financial statement audit process
• Participate in ad hoc projects and reporting
