Role OverviewWe are looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to join our global Accounting Team. Our ideal candidate is a hands-on detail oriented self-starter with experience with establishing/streamlining accounting processes and has strong communication skills.

This role is fully remote based in the US with a strong need/preference towards Central Time Zone and will work with teams across geographies as we grow (Especially, South Asia and LatAm).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support contractor payouts, treasury, tax, cost of revenue, and consolidations functions.
• Support the close process and ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
• Prepare and review monthly financial reports, including variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support creation of new entities outside of the US.
• Coordinate and lead external audits, and prepare audit schedules as needed.
• Actively work with cross functional team members to streamline and improve the process.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, HR, and legal teams.
• Mentor and assign responsibilities to direct reports.
• Implement process improvements to support SOX compliance.
• Ad hoc project work as needed.

Skills/Qualifications Required

• 8+ years of experience in accounting, financial management, or a related fields with 3+ years experience managing direct reports in accounting
• Experience with accounting ERP systems - NetSuite (a must)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a rapidly changing, fast-paced and results-oriented environment with a high degree of flexibility
