Job Description

Job Summary

Utilize general accounting principles to create financial reports and analyses. Responsibilities include managing all aspects of the accounting function, such as controlling accounts and records, recording transactions, analyzing financial data, preparing budgets, forecasts, financial statements, accounting schedules/reports, and supporting auditing processes.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Preparation and entry of journal entries, including GAAP and statutory reporting
• Preparation of income statements, balance sheets, consolidated statements, and other financial reports
• Analysis of monthly financial reports and records
• Maintaining transactions in JDE, recording journal entries per GAAP, and reconciling balance sheet accounts
• Ensuring cash balance accuracy through bank reconciliations
• Completing quarterly and annual statutory financial statements accurately and timely
• Maintaining control processes by recording transactions properly
• Supporting the annual audit by preparing requested schedules

Job Qualifications

Required Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business

Required Experience

• 4-5 years of relevant experience
• Preferred Certification: CPA
