Supermicro Computer, Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Account Manager responsible for successfully expanding Supermicro's customer base in targeted areas. Senior Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining the quality, efficiency, and integrity of Supermicro's sales process through various means of marketing activities and working with cross functional teams including Engineering, Finance, Logistics, and Programs. Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
* Develop strategic sales goals with exceptional execution to meet the sales target
* Responsible for making outbound cold calls to potential customers, consistently achieve lead and appointment quotas. Successfully manage and overcome objections
* Qualify opportunities and create target lists for the Federal market (Civilian, DoD, Intel) as well as the Federal Systems Integrators and VARs.
* Develop relationships, communicate product and market information to the potential customers in professional manner
* Disseminate opportunities to Sr. Director of Sales providing appropriate communications on opportunities
* Monitor inventory, negotiate price, enter and monitor client's orders, facilitate credit issues and negotiate returns
* Serve as backup for manager and team members as needed
* 5 years sales experience, prior experience in tech-industry is desirable
* Bachelor degree in business or engineering is preferred
* Basic understanding of the Government IT acquisition process is preferred.
* Basic understanding of the partner ecosystem that exist within the Federal Government including Federal Systems Integrators and Resellers desirable.
* Must have deep knowledge of and sold server, storage or related software solutions to customers in the cloud, enterprise or embedded markets
* Experience tracking and reporting data on lead activity
* Strong written and verbal skills
* Multi-task and time management skills are a must
* Willingness to Travel
$105,000- $118,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
