Mission of the Role

The Senior Account Manager exists to ensure every sold program delivers maximum impact — for the client and for Formedics.

This role owns complex, high‑value accounts and leads post‑sale execution with a strategic lens, ensuring programs launch on time, remain compliant, and deliver a best‑in‑class experience that accelerates revenue recognition, fuels renewals, and strengthens Formedics’ position as a leader in digital HCP marketing and Next Best Engagement.

Senior Account Managers set the execution standard for the team. They bridge sales strategy, client goals, and internal delivery at scale, while mentoring others and driving process rigor, quality, and consistency.

Role Overview

As a Senior Account Manager at Formedics, you are the strategic and operational lead for complex, high‑impact client programs across all Formedics properties, including Physician’s Weekly, Figure1, MashUp, AMC Media Group platforms, and medical society partners.

This role combines advanced client services, project leadership, and account strategy. You oversee campaigns from post‑sale transition through reporting, ensuring flawless execution, regulatory compliance, and performance optimization. You serve as a senior client contact, escalation point, and internal execution lead, while mentoring Account Managers and Account Coordinators.

You own not only delivery, but also how delivery scales across accounts, teams, and processes.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Post‑Sale Leadership and Client Ownership
  • Serve as the senior day‑to‑day client contact for assigned accounts, owning relationship health, satisfaction, and long‑term partnership.
  • Lead executive‑level client conversations, delivering insights, recommendations, and performance narratives aligned to client objectives.
  • Act as a brand representative and trusted advisor for Formedics, balancing client advocacy with internal standards and business priorities.
  • Handle escalated client challenges and guide resolution with confidence and accountability.
Turning Sold Programs into Revenue‑Driving Launches
  • Oversee end‑to‑end execution of complex and multi‑channel programs, ensuring on‑time, compliant launches that support revenue recognition.
  • Lead timelines, dependencies, and milestones across cross‑functional teams using SmartSheet or similar tools.
  • Oversee Medical Legal Regulatory workflows, ensuring quality, compliance, and speed while minimizing rework.
  • Proactively identify risks that could impact launch timing, scope, or revenue, and drive mitigation plans.
Bridging Sales Vision, Strategy, and Execution
  • Translate sales strategy, client goals, and market context into comprehensive execution plans teams can deliver against.
  • Enter, manage, and oversee campaign setup and IO accuracy in Boostr, Formedics’ order management system, ensuring alignment with sold programs, financial integrity, and billing readiness.
  • Maintain tight alignment between Sales, Client Services, Operations, and Finance through disciplined Boostr management and documentation.
  • Identify growth opportunities within accounts and partner with Sales to drive renewals, expansions, and upsell strategies.
Digital HCP Expertise and Performance Leadership
  • Apply deep expertise in digital marketing, HCP engagement, and pharmaceutical compliance to guide execution and client recommendations.
  • Analyze performance data across programs, identify trends, and deliver optimization guidance that improves outcomes and supports renewal conversations.
  • Ensure reporting and insights reflect strategic value, not just tactical delivery.
Innovation with Discipline and Operational Excellence
  • Support and operationalize advanced engagement models while maintaining consistency, quality, and scalability.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives, identifying inefficiencies and authoring documentation or best practices.
  • Set execution standards for the team by modeling organization, rigor, and accountability.
Team Leadership and Mentorship
  • Mentor and support Account Managers and Account Coordinators through coaching, feedback, and prioritization guidance.
  • Provide Boostr and workflow guidance, reinforcing best practices and data hygiene as the system of record.
  • Partner with leadership to support onboarding, training, and continuous improvement across Client Services.
Required Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of experience in account management, client services, or marketing strategy, preferably in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or digital media.
  • Proven experience managing multi‑million-dollar accounts and delivering results.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with order management and project management tools (e.g., Boostr, SmartSheet, Monday.com).
  • Understanding of healthcare compliance processes (MLR) and complex organizational structures.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and client-focused.
