Position Overview

As an Account Executive, you will drive business growth by selling our state licensing software and services to companies in the pharmaceutical supply chain (manufacturers, wholesalers, 3PLs, pharmacies). You will manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing, with success measured by meeting and exceeding sales targets.

This is a full-time remote position. Working hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm ET

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  1. Performance Targets: Meet or exceed sales targets, including revenue, lead generation, and customer acquisition.
  2. Territory planning: Develop account and territory plans to surpass sales quotas monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  3. Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and qualify new leads via cold calling, emailing, networking, and industry events.
  4. Discovery: Conduct discovery meetings to gather customer information and demonstrate our solutions' value.
  5. Product Knowledge & Demonstrations: Understand our software thoroughly and effectively present and demonstrate to clients.
  6. Sales Process Management: Manage sales cycle from initial contact to contract, documenting progress in CRM using MEDDICC criteria.
  7. Market Intelligence: Keep updated on industry trends, competitors, and regulatory changes to position our products effectively.
  8. Collaboration: Work with marketing, customer success, and product teams to ensure customer satisfaction and growth.
Work Experience & Qualifications
  1. Proven success in achieving/exceeding sales quotas, e.g., top 10% performers.
  2. 5+ years SaaS sales experience with products >$10,000 annually, preferably in pharma, healthcare, or regulatory sectors. Experience with licensing or compliance solutions is a plus.
  3. Strong sales skills and methodology knowledge.
  4. Excellent communication skills tailored to different audiences.
  5. Self-motivated and goal-oriented, capable of managing your pipeline independently.
  6. Comfortable with CRM and sales tools.
  7. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field preferred.
  8. Previous Salesforce experience highly preferred.
  9. Attention to detail, proper etiquette, organizational and time management skills.
  10. Proficient in basic Microsoft Word and Google Drive.
  11. Excellent verbal, written, and language skills.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Annual OTE: $140,000 - $200,000 (base salary 50%)
