Job summary

Robotics Technologies LLC in the United States seeks a skilled SQL Server Database Administrator to install, upgrade, and maintain SQL Server environments, with a focus on 2022+ versions, backups, security, and performance tuning. You will monitor, optimize, and implement HA/DR strategies while coordinating storage resources and disaster recovery testing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of SQL Server administration experience.
• Experience with SQL Server 2022 or later versions.
• Ability to install, upgrade, and apply service packs.
• Knowledge of backups, restores, and DR planning.
• Understanding of security auditing and encryption at rest/transit.

Responsibilities

• Install and upgrade SQL Server instances and apply updates.
• Perform routine database maintenance and monitoring.
• Manage SQL Server Agent jobs and scheduling.
• Monitor error logs, event logs, and performance metrics.
• Implement high availability, replication, and security controls.
• Plan capacity and manage storage, including AWS storage considerations.
• Design and test disaster recovery procedures and RPO/RTO targets.
• Develop and optimize T-SQL, ETL processes, and data routines.
• Maintain disk storage and ensure proper use of resources.

• Installing and upgrading SQL Servers, including applying service packs, cumulative updates


• Performing routine database maintenance


• Knowledge of SQL Server Agent and jobs


• Monitoring error logs and event logs for database errors and warnings
