Job summary

Robotic Technologies Automation is seeking a skilled SQL Server DBA to join our on-site team in the United States. The role requires 4+ years of experience with SQL Server 2022 or later, including installation, upgrades, maintenance, and security auditing.

You will manage backups, DR planning, and performance tuning to ensure data integrity and availability. Responsibilities include monitoring logs, configuring jobs, and implementing high-availability strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience administering SQL Server 2022 or later.
• Experience installing/upgrading SQL Servers and applying service packs.
• Knowledge of SQL Server Agent jobs and maintenance tasks.
• Experience with backups, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
• Familiarity with security, auditing, and encryption at rest/in transit.

Responsibilities

• Install and upgrade SQL Servers, apply service packs and updates.
• Perform routine maintenance and monitor logs for errors and warnings.
• Manage SQL Server security, auditing, and authentication methods.
• Design backups, recoveries, and DR procedures with RPO/RTO targets.
• Monitor performance, tune queries, and use DMVs/Extended Events.

Job Description:

• MINIMUM: 4 Years Experience SQL Server 2022 (or later versions) database administration


• Installing and upgrading SQL Servers, including applying service packs, cumulative updates


• Performing routine database maintenance


• Knowledge of SQL Server Agent and jobs


• Monitoring error logs and event logs for database errors and warnings


• SQL Server native tools and services


• SQL Server Profiler, Index Tuning Advisor


• SQL Server Configuration Manager


• Extended Events, Performance Monitor, Dynamic Management View


• SQL Server Broker Service, Linked Servers, MSDTC


• SQL Server System Databases knowledge

• Maintaining and managing SQL Server disk storage and experience with AWS storage systems to ensure storage is properly utilized


• Managing disk storage for Windows Failover Cluster Service (WFCS)
