Job summary

Mauro Motors Automotive Group, Connecticut's premier Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van Center, seeks a Retail Sales Manager to lead a high-performing commercial sales team and maximize Sprinter van volume and gross profit per unit.

Responsibilities include recruiting and coaching consultants, managing the desking process with F&I, coordinating inventory/upfit, and driving customer experience and CSI across local fleets and businesses.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have previous retail automotive management experience in both new and pre-owned vehicles; commercial, fleet, or Sprinter van sales experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales team, recruit, hire, train, coach and manage performance to meet targets.
• Conduct daily sales meetings; align team on inventory, deals, and objectives.
• Oversee the desking process; approve pricing, trade values, and deal terms with F&I involvement.
• Collaborate with Inventory and Upfit teams to manage stock, aging units, and conversions.
• Coordinate with BDC for follow-up, outbound campaigns, and lead management.
• Own CSI performance and drive service recovery and customer experience.
